The park entrance station is located north of Sand Beach on the Park Loop Road. The park entrance fee is $5 per private vehicle or $3 per person without a vehicle and valid for one week from the date purchased. The fee for tour groups is $3 per person. Several other passes are also available:
Acadia Annual Pass: $15. Good for entrance into Acadia for a year from date of purchase. Golden Eagle Passport: $25 annually. Good for entrance at all national parks, monuments, federal recreation areas for twelve months from date of purchase.
GoldenAge Passport: $10 one time fee. Must be a US citizen, 62 years or older. Provides entrance and half off on camping at all national parks, monuments, federal recreation areas Golden Access Passport: Free to all disabled US citizens. Provides entrance and half off on camping at all national parks, monuments, federal recreation areas.
The entrance station on the Park Loop Road will carry all passes. Park Headquarters will carry all passes except the Acadia Annual Pass.
The Hulls Cove Visitor Center and the Sieur de Monts Spring Nature Center will carry only the Golden Access Passports.
